WE 3.0
THE LARRY BRRRDS / LYNYRD’S INNARDS
split 7”

$3.00

This well-received 7" was released in the Fall of 1994 and contained 4 songs by
Dayton OH’s The Larry Brrrds and 2 songs by the Midwest darlings of power-pop
Lynyrd’s Innards. The Larry Brrrds were an amazing band that meshed scratchy-
guitar punk similar to Crimpshrine with lyrical topics running the gamut from obscure Dayton landmarks to the ridiculous slacker mentality of “Gen-X’ers”. Lynyrd’s Innards sets the wayback-machine to 1982 with a new-wave inspired track referencing 80’s television, Pong, and Thomas Dolby. The coup-de-grace is a cover of “Safety Dance” with a foreword by Kickboy Face from “The Decline of Western Civilization”. Both bands “borrowed” (read: stole) their cover artwork from infamous religious-tract-comic wacko Jack T. Chick, and The Larry Brrrds even fashioned a mock Chick-tract lyric booklet which is pure genius.
